Research & development

Working toward quench-free HTS magnets.

Quench-free HTS magnets are a key enabler for commercial fusion: they need to be strong, efficient, and economical. Smart Insulation-based HTS magnet technology is Cellativity’s focus for advancing toward this goal.

Cellativity is working with KERI’s Smart Insulation-based HTS research group to raise the TRL of the Smart Insulation-based HTS magnet technology toward 6.
